Our department is planing to upgrade the existing server 2000 to 2003. The computer for our department is part of the company intranet. We will run SQL 2008 and IIS. The IIS will host web site and about 25 external users(from outside our company) will access it by validation called IVE(IBM Tivoli). After this validation the external users will access the web site as internal users. Somebody said we do not need to buy any licences because the external users will access the web site via the intranet? Is this correct or we have to buy Connector license?
