Is there a way to limit which users to what details they can see in the GAL? For example, I have users in AD that have their cell phone numbers in their account details and I would like to limit who can or cannot see that information in the GAL. Is this possible?

Hi, Please try the workaround below. We may need to separate these users in different group and then grant different permission on these groups. 1. Create Group A and B. A for those can see the phone number, B for those cannot see the phone number. 2. Type Adsiedit.msc from a command prompt. 3. Find user that you want to hide phone information and then right click to Properties. 4. Click on Security tab and then click on Advanced. 5. Click on Add and then find group B. 6. On the next pop up window, please change to Properties. 7. Find Read Phone and Mail Option and then tick in Deny Option. Regards, Xiu
