Limit user abiltiy to see the conference rooms
Limit user abiltiy to see the conference rooms - Is it possible to
segment who can and can not see certain Resource Mailboxes (conference
rooms )? For example; user abc can see room 1 and 2, and user xyz can only see room2?

Please describe more about the question. Do you want to restrict the view of conference room in the address list and GAL when users try to add rooms?
Can you tell the exchange version?
For exchange 2007, please see the reference below:
“This white paper provides the information that you need in order to configure Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 with multiple address
lists so different groups of users can have their own address list and secure those address lists so that groups of users can only see their specific address list”

It's exchange 2007 SP2. We have a conference room which we just want users from one department see and book it via Outlook, and we do not want rest of users in the company to see it in Outlook address book. Is it possible? Thanks!

Yes, as I know, you can deploy the segregated room address lists so the groups of users can only use the specific lists that they are allowed to

Ray-
The long and short of it is no you can't do this. You can define segregated address lists as James notes but every single time you have one of these scenarios you'll have to create a new permutation of address list. It will be a management nightmare and
not sustainable long term.Active Directory, 4th Edition - www.briandesmond.com/ad4/
