LoadGen objects in Active Directory
Question... I was testing my new Exchange 2007 setup, and LoadGen placed a number of objects into my Active Directory under the OU "LoadGen Objects". Now that my testing is complete and I've uninstalled the LoadGen tool, the objects are still there in my AD. I'm assuming that there's no issues with just deleting this OU? I'd rather keep my AD clean and remove the extranious objects, but don't want to inadvertanly break anything. (not that I can think of anything it would break, but caution is always the better route to take)

Hello Christian,Yes you can simply delete those objects from OU if they are not active and you're not going to use them in future, But i always recommend to take the system state backup of your AD on the server which hold schema master role....Backup Windows Server 2003 Active Directoryhttp://www.petri.co.il/backup-windows-server-2003-active-directory.htmArun Kumar | MCSE - 2K3 + Messaging | ITIL-F V3

Sorry, just saw your messages. That's what I thought, I've got my System State backed up (via DPM 07, love that product) and will go ahead and get rid of them. Thanks!
