In our test environment we moved from Windows 2003 servers to Windows 2008 servers and attempted to run LoadGen again. It initializes the mailboxes fine, when it comes to initializing the public store it thows an error that it can't connect to a server. The problem is that the server it is referencing no longer exists. The public folders were removed first, then the server. Since encountering this problem we've completely removed Exchange 2007 from Active Directory using adsiedit, and built new servers, even reinstalled LoadGen. We've been trying to find where this reference to the old server is without success. Any help? Exch2008a is the server that has been retired.
