Locking down users
I work at a high school that has hideous security. For starters the kids log in automatically as a local administrator. The school uses novel and applauncher, the desktop and toolbar andlocal hard driveare hidden but the kids have already figured out how toget aroundthat. I can lock down the machines using management console, is there a way I can push out a console management policy? Or local policy using netware? My only other option would be to make a image, lock it down how I want it, then re-image every machine. I've notified my superiors of the security issues, they seem to think the kids aren't that much of a threat. Some kids have already learned to how to get to the C: and control panel. I beleive it will create more work for me in the long run and I want to take action.

First off, this is a Microsoft Exchange Forum.Second, you will have to use Novell ZenWorks to push policy with Novell & the workstations have to have the Workstation Mgmt Agent installed with the Novell client.
