Login fails until NIC is disabled / enabled
Hi, I connect to my workplace via VPN and have Outlook connecting to Exchange on my laptop. Until recently this worked great, but the last few weeks my connection to Exchange will drop out and the login dialog will popup, and will fail (ie. Keep popping up) until I close Outlook, disconnect from the VPN, disable and re-enable my NIC through Device Manager, reconnect to the VPN, then reopen Outlook. I have to do this at least once a day and it's doing my head in. The Exchange server has been rebooted during this time so that suggestion won't help. Anyone got any thoughts..?? Cheers.

I'd submit that you have an unreliable network, which may be the VPN. If you're using a wired connection while wirelss is enabled on your computer, you might also be switching networks, so try turning off wireless. Hi TDSnet, Could you please confirm the laptop connect to the internal network through VPN without any corruption? Or you could enble the outlook log, and confirm the connection issue, even we could use netmon to confirm the onnection issue. Ed also gave some good suggestion, please check it. Regards! Gavin
