I know that this question is some what elaborated but...
I am interested in what happens to the Outlook cache if outlook is started up :
1. Some time in the future (months or years
AND 2. A network connection to the exchange server is not present.
Let's say a work station PC is set up to maintain a 12 month cache and is not power on for 13 months. Once booted Outlook is opened. What happens to my cache?
Under normal conditions with a network connection I know all old email will be purged and updated with messages from the last 12 months.
But in the event not connection is made to the exchange server what will happen? Will all old email automaticly be lost, or the the cahce purge only happenonce a connection is made?
Thanks!!
