hi, I create tasks in Outlook 2013, in some of the tasks I may insert Tables in the task. I also use Format Text such bold, highlighting, bullets, etc.

The task will keep all the formatting for days/weeks. Then all of sudden I open a task and all the formatting, tables are gone and everything defaults to Calibri (body)

it's very inconsistent, I have over 70 tasks, and this issue will occur in a handful , not all of them. 

My account is on a corporate Exchange Server. any help is appreciated.

Hi,

For troubleshooting, I provide my suggestions below:

• Please recreate a profile for a test.
• Please open Outlook in safe mode to check if this issue still occurs.
• Please check the differences in File>Options>Mail>Message format between normal Outlook and unusual Outlook.
• Switch another PC to check if something wrong with local application files or PC.

Tasks is a feature in outlook, I also suggest you to post this on Outlook forum for better help.

I have solved part of the mystery.  I use an iPhone for some months now and it is synchronized with my exchange.  I just checked and if I open a task with the iPhone, it destroys all formatting! 

I have the feeling this is the root of the problem overall.  I never remember this happening when I was on Blackberry.  I guess the tradeoff is having usable apps!
