Lync 2010 and Simple URls
I am trying to change an existing simple url (lets start with just meet) from https://lyncmeet.sampleweb.com to https://lync.sampleweb.com/meet in order to simplify the install and not require additional DNS entries and certificates (Standard that is).
When I got to change the URL through the topology builder and try to make it active I receive a message indicating "simple url cannot contain a web services override FQDN that is in use in the topology"
Any ideas where to look?

You would set the Web Services FQDN in the Pool properties (or Director properties) in the topology builder. Right-click your FE pool and click Edit. Scroll down to the Web Services section. This FQDN cannot match the simple URL.
