Lync Add-in gets auto disabled on Outlook 2013
Hi,
Lync Add-in gets auto disabled on Outlook 2013. This add-in needs to be manually enabled each time Outlook is launched.
OS used is Win 8. How do I ensure that this add-in remains enabled permanently.
Troubleshooting Steps tried thus far :
1. Reinstalled Lync
2. Repaired the entire Office 2013 package
3. Creating a new Outlook profile didnot help either.
Your valuable inputs would be really appreciated.

Hi Arjit,
First, I want to make sure, when you said "Lync Add-in", do you mean the "Lync Meeting Scheduling Outlook Addin"?
If so, please check the COM Add-Ins settings, make sure the Load Behavior is set as Load at Startup:
.
If the Load Behavior is correct, please try to disable all the other add-ins and restart Outlook to determine if it is caused by conflict with the other add-ins.

I am also having the same problem.. I have disabled all other add-in.. the problem of Lync add-in keep on showing as inactive when I restart outlook. I have to check box it every time

My Situation
Had to re-enable Lync Meeting Add-In in each time Outlook 2013 was started as it was not set to "Load at Startup".
Resolution
- Starting Outlook 2013 as an Administrator (right click, run as Admin)
- Outlook, File, Options, Add-ins, Manage Com Add-Ins Go..., Lync Meeting Scheduling Outlook Addin, Remove, OK
- Outlook, File, Options, Add-ins, Manage Com Add-Ins Go..., Add..., C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15\UCAddin.dll, OK
- Close Outlook and start it as a normal user.
Hope this helps.

Work great - thanks - although since I am using 64 bit the UCAddin.ddl was in the folder c:\program files\microsoft office\office 15 rather than ...program files (x86)..

Unfortunately did not Work in my case...
I have checked that LoadBehavior is set to 3 on the users pc. Seems I must investigate further.
