  I am looking for a Solution for one of my customer who is on Lync online. There is no DirSync or ADFS . This arrangement is done for there contractors and vendors. Customer wants to have an option (third party application) which can record and archive all the activities (IM, A/V , etc.) without any user intervention. They are ready to install the Third Party Application on each and every laptop that contractors and vendors have.

  Till not I am unable to get any solution. Please remember, there is absolutely no connection with either Exchange (Online or On-Prem).

For Lync Online I'm not familiar with the 3rd-party solutions but probably you will need one, maybe some community members know some and they will let you know.
