MSExchangeMU issue
Hi, I'm truly sorry if this problem was ever solved, but I just couldn't find the solution. On (Windows 2003) server I have Exchange 2003 SP2, IIS6 installed and every 15 minutes the following Warning appears in my Application Log: ---- Event Type: Warning Event Source: MSExchangeMU Event Category: General Event ID: 1040 Date: 2009.12.17 Time: 10:50:28 User: N/A Computer: SRV-DC Description: Metabase Update failed replication 5 times with error 80070003 (The system cannot find the path specified.). Please change the diagnostic logging level of MSExchangeMU to 'minimum' or greater to find the source of the problem. For more information, click http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp. ---- Already tried the suggestion to delete Metabase keys "DS2MB" and "SMTPSVC/1/domain" - didn't help Changed Diagnostic Logging to various levels - didn't provide any useful information I'm just out of ideas. Any help is appreciated

Does the OWA/ActiveSync work well? Please try to method below: a. Backup Metabase (KB 324277) b. Stop Microsoft Exchange System Attendant Service c. Using Metabase Explorer to delete the DS2MB key, and the SMTPSVC/1/domain key Notes: Metabase Explorer is available in the IIS 6.0 Resource Kit d. Restart Microsoft Exchange System Attendant Service. After restarting the system attendant it will recreate the keys that were deletedJames Luo TechNet Subscriber Support (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/subscriptions/ms788697.aspx) If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com

OWA is not enabled for some reason (this server was configured by previous administrator before me, so don't ask why). I have already tried the solution you wrote (deleting and recreating DS2MB and SMTPSVC/1/domain keys) - didn't work. I guess I will just have to reinstall IIS and Exchange to get it working the way it should.
