MS Office 2013 Online Archive Problem and dependency with Lync 2013 Standard

I am using Exchange 2013 Ent. as server and most of the users have MS Office 2013 Standard version (Volume licencing). It's ridiculous that i have to purchase MS Office 2013 Pro or Standalone Outlook 2013 to use online archiving features at client part. Again, I am using Lync 2013 Server as server part and Lync 2013 Basic as client part. I have very limited number of licence for Lync 2013 (Standard, Volume Licencing) as client part also. Suddenly I found that, the users who are using MS Office 2013 Std with Lync 2013 Std can see the online archive in outlook. The user's of Lync 2013 basic can't see that. Can anyone say, why this is happening? What is the relation of Lync 2013 Std with Exchange online archive.

Is there any way to use Online Archive feature in MS Office 2013 Std.?

Basic on the document from Microsoft, Outlook 2013 included with Microsoft Office Standard 2013 dont support online archive. For your reference:

Do you means that the user who use Lync 2013 basic cannot sync the IM with Outlook?
Please try to press Ctrl and right-click Lync client icon, then open Configuration Information to double check the status of EWS information and EWS URL.
