I have tried margins and they are set to normal.  I am using MS Word and everytime that I type something it goes to the middle of the page.  Any ideas?  Need at the top of the paper.  

On the Page Layout tab of the ribbon, click the arrow in the lower right corner of the Page Setup group.

Activate the Layout tab of the Page Setup dialog.

Select Top from the Vertical alignment dropdown.

If the problem occurs in all new documents, click Set As Default, otherwise, click OK.
