MailBox Contacts
Hello everybody,I would like to get access -through code (cmdlet?)- to all the contacts of a given mailbox. The case is that I have a cvs file with contacts of a mailbox 'A' and I want to insert all those contacts into a mailbox 'B'. I will really appreciate your help on this.Best Regards,John3D

To the best of my knowledge there is no cmdlet that does this job, unless someone has written a PSSnapin that handles personal contacts. An easy way to achieve your goals is with Outlook 2007:* File, Import and Export, Export to a file, Comma Separated Values (Windows), Select Folder to export from (Contacts) ...* File, Import from another program or file, Comma Separated Values (Windows) ...If you like coding (just as an example, see the EWS part):How do I access my Outlook contacts from my web application?http://weblogs.asp.net/whaggard/archive/2007/01/30/how-do-i-access-my-outlook-contacts-from-my-web-application.aspx
If you need help here, you should post to the Exchange ever Development forum:http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvrdevelopment/threadsYou could also try the Windows PowerShell Forum:http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winserverpowershell/threads

AUser called 'XXX'used to use Outlook 2003.Then he exported his contacts as csv.Now he is only using OWA.User 'XXX'cannot see his outlook contacts on owa.
Then she or he must have deleted her/his Contacts, or something is wrong with OWA.Feature comparison between Outlook 2003 and Outlook Web Access 2003http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA010990461033.aspx Feature Comparison Between Outlook 2003, Office Outlook 2007, and Outlook Web Access 2007http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/2007/evaluation/featurecomparison.mspx
Someone (or that user) should log on to the mailbox with Outlook and import the Contacts from the .CSV file. The procedure for importing into Outlook 2007 is outline in a previous post. I think something is wrong with OWA because contacts on Outlook are not being replicated in OWA. This is for all the mail boxes on my server. Any thoughts?John3D

Not necessarily so. Contacts might be disabled in OWA. How to Manage Segmentation in Outlook Web Accesshttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123962.aspx
ContactsIf it is enabled, this option lets users see Contacts folders by using Outlook Web Access. If it is disabled, Contacts folders are still available by using Outlook, but will not be visible from Outlook Web Access.
