Hi,
Does this issue happen to all shortcut? If it only happens to single task, try to delete the shortcut and the task, and then recreate them again to check the result.
Seems it's an Outlook 2007 issue and had been fixed in the following hotfix:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941275/en-us
But we didn't notice this problem with an Outlook 2013 client. We will monitor on this issue and will inform you if we found something.

Hello,
It happens with all tasks. I even have this problem on different machines, with different users...
I also found that 2007 hotfix, but that obviously doesn't work on a Office 2013.

Hi,
I have the exact same problem i Denmark. After installing Office 2013 I can't open any embedded object made in office 2010. It tells me that MailMsgAtt isn't installed.
Any hotfixes on the way?

Jesper

It seems the support side is suspiciously quiet on this one...
I'm having the same problem with all shortcuts to mails in the calendar. Easy to create but don't try to open one afterwards.
