Mail Enabled Groups
Dear All,
I have a small issue with my Exchange 2003 SP2 on Win2003 SP1, my issue cancers Mail Enabled Groups (global security groups). The problem is when any user compose a message to an external recipient with a copy to any mail enabled group within my organization, the mail gets deliver successfully to all recipients including those in group, however when the external recipient opens the message what he sees under the group address is the mail enabled group address, when he replays to the all including the group addresshe gets a NDR from my server which is OK since my groups are configured to accept message only from Authenticated users to prevent spam distribution.
Well this adds confusion to many external userswhich are receiving the group email address since they can not replay to it. Isthere a an option which will make it possible when ever a message is sent from our organization to an externalrecipient that the external recipient receives the group members e-mail address of all members instead of the group address, so he can replay to all, without gettinga NDR???
Thank you

Dear Jammy,
I'm not sure if I understand you right. Do you suggest to remove the "Authenticated users only" option in order to allow external senders to replay to the groups, is that right. If so thats of curse is an option but that will make my mail enable groups less secure for spam, please correct me if I'm wrong.
