Mail forward problem
Hi there, I have got a domain account "user@domain.com" and would like Exchange to forward all outgoing mails from my domain account to another outside account "user@yahoo.com". No matter where I send my mails from user@domain.com , I want exchange to forward them all to user@yahoo.com outside. How can i do it? Thanks for help, Pawel

You can do inbound and outbound forwarding for this account by using the Delivery options tab in the users Active Directory account. Is this sufficient? Shaun

I just found screens of Delivery Option tab in Users Active Directory. I cannot see there Inboud / Outbound forwarding :( There is only "Forward to" option to forward all incoming mails to external email address.

You will need to create an Exchange contact with the external email address, then you can add that contact to have all messages fowarded to that address.

My apologies, the Delivery Option tab in 2003 will only allow you to forward inbound mail, you are quite right. As far as I know, it is not possible to do this natively with Exchange 2003. You could perhaps use a client side rule in Outlook to CC \ BCC all outbound mail. Of course, the Outlook client would need to be on, and it would not work for OWA or Windows Mobile sent items. In Exchange 2007, you can achieve this using recipient based journaling.Shaun

Since you are using Exchange 2007, why not create a Transport Rule and let the server copy or redirect the message to a mail-enabled contactbased on your sending address?http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa995961.aspx

Transport rules as above, or you could use per-recipient Journaling. You will need to purchase an Enterprise level CAL for the user (always speak with Microsoft Licensing about exact requirements) You can configure this using Journaling Rules. See here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124382.aspx In short: You will first need to setup a contact by using Recipient Config --> Mail Users --> Create new contact and then Exchange Management Shell --> Org Config --> Hub --> Journaling --> New Journal Rule --> set up as Global for your recipient and send to contact.
