We want to upgrade our exchange 2007 to exchange 2010, I did install a new domain envoirment met windows 2008 R2 as DC and DNS and othere sever 2008 R2 as a Exchange 2010.we are hosting the e-amils of one of our client on our exchange 2007, before any upgrade I want to test the configuration on exchange 2010.I did create a OU for our client with 2 sub OU's as Group and Users, after that I did create a distorbiution group for this client in EMC of exchange 2010, after that I did add the domain of the client is under AD Domains and trusts, then I did also add the domain of client in EMC of Ex2010 toAccepted domains.now here is the problem when I try to create a New E-mail Address Policy I went to EMC then chose the New E-mail Address Policy I give it a name then choose the option: ALL Recipiant then In the next page I did select the option Custom Attribute 1 equals Value, and then click on: spcified and add the name of the client, when I go to the next page I did click Add, select the E-mail address local part (I used first name and last name initial) here normally at the buttem of the page I should see a drop down list to chose the corect domain, but I can see only the name of our domain with out any drop down menu, I did follow the same steps on a exchange 2007 and there was no issue at all, could some one tell why is this hepping in exchange 2010?One more thing is the only diffirent that I see in exchange 2010 when I add the domain of the client to the Accepted domains, I can see that behind it says fals and behind our domain says true,but in Ex 2007 there is no true or false.Thanks,ShahinShahin
