Not being an exchange tech/admin myself, how to do the above, and what would it prove/disprove?

How can I verify my actually SMTP address, to check they arent spelling it wrong or anything daft? And can SMTP address be case sensitive or anything weird like that?

Hi,
What version of Exchange server are you using (when I know that I can give you links to articles that explains how to perform the steps).
It would prove that messages actually got to your server and which e-mail address they were meant for.

Hi,
You shlould be able to check your e-mail address from the Outlook client - properties of your name.
e-mail addresses are not case sensitive

Hi,
Do you get e-mails from others delivered to your exchange server?

I think it due to the filter, such as attachment filter.
So could you please ask the user to send a
plain text email to you. If you can receive the
plain text email, the issue should be the filter.

Please make sure the send not in your blocked sender, and there is not any rule to forbid from receiving email from
the sender.
