Mailbox Assistants Service Crashing after update to CU9

Hi there,

We updated to Exchange Server 2013 CU 9 yesterday in hopes of mitigating some of the issues that we've had when migrating mailboxes from on premise to Exchange Online in our hybrid scenario, particularly around reconfiguration of mobile devices.

However, since we completed the upgrade, whichever server in our two member DAG is holding the active copies of the message stores repeatedly logs event 7031 in the Windows  system event log, noting the following:

Log Name:      System
Source:        Service Control Manager
Date:          7/30/2015 9:26:26 AM
Event ID:      7031
Task Category: None
Level:         Error
Keywords:      Classic
User:          N/A
Computer:     xxxxx
Description:
The Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Assistants service terminated unexpectedly.  It has done this 1 time(s).  The following corrective action will be taken in 5000 milliseconds: Restart the service.

Additionally, the windows app event log shows:

Log Name:      Application
Source:        MSExchange Common
Date:          7/30/2015 9:28:30 AM
Event ID:      4999
Task Category: General
Level:         Error
Keywords:      Classic
User:          N/A
Computer:      xxxxx
Description:
Watson report about to be sent for process id: 24400, with parameters: E12, c-RTL-AMD64, 15.00.1104.005, MSExchangeMailboxAssistants, M.E.InfoWorker.Common, M.E.I.C.M.UserSettingAutodiscovery.CreateGroupIdFromAutoDiscoverResponse, System.InvalidOperationException, d44, 15.00.1104.000.

I get the sense I will end up needing to create a premier case for this, but I figured that I'd see if anyone else was having this problem and if there were any suggestions to fix it before I went that route.  As far as I can tell, there's no noticeable ill effects, but I'd rather not have a critical service crashing at two minute intervals.

Thanks in advance

Most of the time service crashes cases warrant premier MS case if it has the latest CU installed but before that I would check,  file level antivirus on the server has proper exclusion for Exchange 2013 and ensure nothing else is interfering in the operation... I am sure MS support will ask that too...
