Mailbox Delegation
What is the best way or tool to use to determine a mailbox delegate membership(s )to other mailboxes? I have an old user mailbox who keeps sending NDRs when a user send's a message to a dlist. We have removed the user mailbox on all dlist so this mailbox is a delegate to someone else's mailbox. Thanks in adavnce!

Thanks in adavnce! Delegates are usually found in the publicDelegates and publicDelegatesBL properties of mailbox-enabled users. But it's very common to find that they aren't there, yet the mailbox may show them as a delegate. If the mailbox *doesn't* show any delegates it's still possible that there's a rule in the mailbox that still acting as if the *is* a delegate. In other words, figuring out where the problem lies is not easy. Glen Scales has a Powershell script that uses the EWS Managed API to ADD delegates to a mailbox here: http://gsexdev.blogspot.com/2009/04/add-delegates-to-mailbox-with.html It probably wouldn't be convert that to look for those permission instead of setting them. Whatever way you address it, digging this stuff out of the AD is a lot easier than spelunking in mailboxes. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP
