Mailbox Limit Notification Incorrectly Sent
One of our users has recently started receiving mailbox limit notifications incorrectly. We increased the mailbox limit from 100MB to 250MB but they are still receiving the e-mails that say you are nearly at your 100MB limit.
We have re-created the mailbox and we are still having this problem.
Any suggestions on how to fix it?

You havent mentioned the version of Exchange, but check the mailbox status from the server side and see if Exchange thinks the mailbox is over the limit still.
Alos double check that you have set the new limit correctly. Its easy to mess that up.

Ah! My mistake. It's 2010 SP1. When I run get-mailboxstatistics on the mailbox it shows StorageLimitStatus as "BelowLimit" rather than "IssueWarning" or "Disabled". I've double checked the limits and have set them correctly.
Cheers
Adam.

Hi Adam,
Any updates on this issue?
If the issue persists, please run this command “get-mailbox –id “usermailbox” | fl *quota*” to check for
the limits and paste the result in your next post.

Another mistake by me! The notification was being forwarded from an old mailbox to a new mailbox so was actually a false warning. We've resolved this now.
