Hi ,We have exchange 2003 with Sp4. We have a 3 storage group. We would like tomove users who has left the company to differnt storage group.I have created one storage & mailbox store calll left users.The sizeof the left users are 5 gb to 25 gb. I have move few usrs mailboxes from first storage group to Left users storage group.but when i was trying to move mailbox of the users who mailbox size is huge i am getting error message "THE NUMBER OF CORRUPTED MAIL IS EXCEEDED." ".I am moving the mailbox through move mailbox wizard. I cannot do exmerge as it has limitation of 2 GB.I tried through admdify.net, but its just changing the point to new mailbox store, its not movingphysically mailbox store from first storage group to left users storage group.Kindly advise.

Hello, When using the move mailbox wizard, you could choose the "maximum number of corrupted items to skip", the default number is 3 and it can be set as high as 100. Because the corrupted items are permanently deleted from the mailbox, we suggest you back up the source mailboxes before you try to move mailboxes. For example, if you skip up to six corrupted items, you can delete up to six messages from a mailbox and still successfully move the mailbox. If the maximum number of corrupted items is exceeded, the mailbox is not moved. I suggest you raise the number and try again. Hi Chetan, If the mailboxes fail to move because of the more than 100 corrupted items, we need to export the data into PST and then delete and then recreate their mailbox on the new store and import the data. I understand the support limit for exmerge is 2GB. As the pst format used by exmerge is in the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) format, and the overall size has a limit of 2 gigabytes (GB). But for Outlook 2003 and 2007, they both use unicode format which is support up to 20GB. For more information: The .pst file has a different format and folder size limit in Outlook 2007 and in Outlook 2003 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/830336 Please use Outlook 2003 or 2007 to export the pst file, then create a new mailbox on the new store and use Outlook to import the data.
