Mailbox Permission
We have moved serveral Mailboxes from E2K to E2K7 CCR servers. All E2K7 servers are running on Windows 2008 SP2. All the clients are oultook 2007 with min SP1. The users who had SEND-AS access to several shared mailboxes on E2K have are not able to SEND-AS the shared mailboxes after they are moved to E2K7. Though i could see the permission does exists. I removed the permission and reassigned the same permission. Still users are not able to SEND-AD. I have assigned full mailbox permission and send-as permissions both. Does the permission model in E2K7 on Win2k8 has changed? swamy

Hi,It is still possible to assign send-as permissions on an Exchange 2007 mailbox.Did you check the permissions from the 2007 Management Console? What is the error message users receive when trying to send as another mailbox?Leif

Hi,
In addition to Leif, whether you have attempted to restart the Information Store service and check the result after re-assign Send As permission. If you create a new user and grant the user send as permission to the shared mailbox, whether the issue still persists.
