Mailbox Store Default..
Good day guys, I would like to know what is the check box of "Use Mailbox Store Defaults" which found at each user properties at Active Directory Users and Computers, "Exchange General" Tab, "Storage Limits" buttons, my question is what is the really "Mailbox Store Default Capacity" or actual Mailbox Capacity per user by default? Is this referring also to "Recipient Limits" with the default of "5000" which found at Exchange System Manager, "Global Settings", "Message Delivery", then "Message Delivery Properties", then "Defaults" Tab. By the way I'm using Exchange Server 2003 Standard Edition with Service Pack 2. Thanks and Regards, Cheers...

it is the mailbox size limits which is set on the stores. you can check this settings here: 1. see where the user is located (which mailbox store) 2. go to the properties of that store. 3. go to limits tab, here you will have the mailbox limits. if this tab is greyed out , then it means you have used limit policies. 1. go to policies tab. 2. see what all policies are applied. 3. under the admin group in exchange system manager, you will have a container called "System policies" , under that 4. you will have the policies which you can check and find the limits. thanks ThiyaguThiyagu | MCTS/MCITP - Exchange 2007 | MCSE 2003[Messaging] | http://www.myExchangeWorld.com. Good day Thiyagu, This will be the one time set for all the users which is configuring the Mailbox Limits, but if you want per User Mailbox Limit you must go to Active Directory Users and Computers at Exchange General Tab. I have just read this related site link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124611(EXCHG.65).aspx But then I would like to know what is the exact default mailbox capacity per user is there any information for the exact default capacity per user of mailbox or it will be infinite, but if you use and set the limit that will be the preferred mailbox capacity for all users? Any clarifications, suggestions, and recommendations it will be accepted. Thanks and Regards, Cheers...
