Mailbox are not Created
I have a problem creating mailboxes on my Exchange 2003 Enterprise SP2 Windows 2003 R2 Cluster. Every time I create a user the mailbox is not created. I found a article that said this was a bug and it was solved when you apply SP1. The workaround was to restart the System Attendant and rebuild the RUS.
I did this and the mailbox appeared.
Does anyone has an Idea of what could be happening?
Regards,
Pablo.

Hi,
Thissounds likestandard behaviour.
The mailbox is not created till the user opens Outlook/OWA for the first time or till someone sends the user an e-mail.

Leif: yes it is normal for the mailbox not to appear until the first message arrive or the user logs on for the first time. This is not the case, when you send a message it bounce back because the mailbox does not exist, when you try to log on the OWA it sends a blank page after it validates your user and password and when you try to configure the outlook cliente it wouldnt find the mailbox.
Ive been searching about this issue and it was supposed to be fixed with Service Pack 1. My server has Service Pack 2 and it was working perfectly. All of a sudden it stoped creating the mailboxes. The only updates applyed are related with Windows Server 2003 Security.

Pablo.
