Mailbox folder permissions
Please see the example below ----user mailbox----inbox-----user2 has rights----sent items etc----special folder-----user2 needs access----special folder 2-----user2 needs access Now the "special folder" can go up to 30 folders in the mailbox. My question is can I replicate permissions to the mailbox subfolders in Exchange 2007 without giving user2 full access? Do I need to accomplish this manually or can I run a script? I know of some third party solutions but they are pretty expensive. Thanks, D

Hi D, You can use PFDavAdmin to assign permission on mailboxes, with it you can give the permission at top of the information store and then you can right click on it and select propagate folder AECs to apply/remove permissions on all/selected sub folders. Here is an example of PFDavAdmin but this explains how to give calendar permission to allmailboxes on a serverbut you can get some idea bout it with this example.
