Hi, I tried to install Exchange Server 2007 Beta 2 on a Windows Longhorn Beta2 configured as a DC. When The setup tried to install the mailbox role, the setup fail with the error : An error occurred. error code was 2147749902 message was An error occurred during a call to Windows Management Instrumentation. I have tried to reboot the server and restart the installation and the samme error appear. Does anybody know how I can solve this error ? Thanks, Steve

Windows Longhorn server is not supported currently. Check the system requirements - you need to use Windows 2003 or Windows 2003 R2. Longhorn server likely won't even be supported for RTM.

I'm getting the same error on a 2003 server (enterprise) running SP1 and other specified req's as a VMWare Server instance.. Any help/assistance/pointers to resources to resolve this would be appreciated. Cheers, Simon
