Mailbox size limit - Warning Message Interval
The Warning Message Interval is by default:"Run daily at 1:00 AM"Why does this mean exactly? If the user has exceeded a limit, what happens? Does Exchange send them a message at this time?Is the hour indicated (1:00 AM) the time when Exchange scans the DB to see if there are MBXs that exceed the limit? (I think I read that somewhere). Some users are reaching their limit but they haven't mentioned receiving a warning message. Could be they just haven't mentioned it...

At 1am, it checks size, and emails alerts. Are you sure the users nearing limit don't have their sizes explicitly different or warnings disabled on their mailbox objects?
