Manage resource mailboxes
I'm trying to find a way to cancel/delete meeting requests made by employees who have left our company. We have equipment and rooms set up as resources that can be reserved. We are finding some are "tied up" by staff who left the company. Is there a way to purge these requests automatically? If someone has left and the position not filled, these meetings are not needed. Currently, we get a call to the helpdesk that a resource is being used by someone who's no longer employed and I manually remove the meeting. Not effective as the staff size and turnover increase. Thanks for any ideas

Unfortunately, there isn't an automated way of removing these requests.

Hi, I agree that there may not be a way to do this using the exchange native tools. I wonder if there isa 3rd party tool or a script that can help cleaning up this mess.

I am personally not aware of one.
