MapiExceptionPropsDontMatch error
Exchange 2007
We use a Outlook client mapi plug-in to access our Avaya Modular Messaging 2.x voicemail stored on the voicemail server (not Exchange). Basically, installing the Avaya plug-in creates an inbox and deleted items folder under a Avaya folder. It adds a config tab to Outlook where you can specify your voicemail box number and voicemail password. We recently started implementing Exchange 2007 and are moving from an Exchange 2000 environment.
Users we have moved from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2007 receive the subject error message when attempting to forward a voicemail to someone via exchange. In other words, I listen to a voicemail and I want to forward it to someone else in the organization. Exch 2000 users can right click the voicemail in their Avaya inbox in Outlook, select forward, type in someone's alias or select them from the GAL, click Send and it is done. Users who have been moved to Exchange 2007 receive the subject error message. I don't think this is a routing issue. It appears the message is being rejected by Exch 2007. I have found absolutely nothing on this error. Avaya has not been able to help thus far. Any help would be appreciated.

Did the solution that was posted work for you? Can you tell me how you resolved this?

I did not try the proposed solution because the technical article indicates it is for Modular Messaging 3.x and I am running version 2.x.

We have the same problem. We're moving from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007, have Avaya Module Messaging 3.1 with a separate message store (not saving messages in the Exchange store). The user is utilizing Avaya's Outlook Restricted Client v7.1.546.2 and receives the followingerror when he tries to forward a voicemail message as a WAV file.

The problem did not exist when the user's mailboxwas on Exchange 2003 server. It started shortly after he was moved over to the Exchange 2007 server. I have yet to come up with a solution. Anyone else having this issue or find a solution?
