Maximum number of rows in a table?

I have a table with over 20 million rows. Will Access 2010 be able to handle it if it is less than 2 gig in size? Will I still be able to join it to other tables in queries?

Looked for an answer in Microsoft published specifications and could not find it.

In theory, Access can handle such large tables. But running a query will probably be slow, especially if you have complex joins and/or conditions

In Addition to Hans' answer you might want to increase the MaxLocksPerFile setting because i'm pretty sure you will encounter issues with that. One explanation on how to do that can be this one:
