Meeting request forwarded externally stamped on behalf of
Exchange 2007 SP1 Rollup5We have an issue where an internal user creates a meeting request with an external user, then that external user forwards the meeting to another external user. The problem is that that second external user sees the meeting invite as from the first on behalf of our internal.UserInternalA sends a meeting to UserExternalA, UserExternalA forwards that meeting to UserExternalB. When UserExternalB gets the message it reads that it is from UserExternalA on behalf of UserInternalA. I need to turn this off asap.Thank you.

Does this happens to only this user? does he has any delegate settings. I would ask you to test the same thing with any of the other user if that works fine in that case compare both user's Mailbox-Calendarsettings from Shell Get-Mailboxcalendarsettings <alias> | flVinod |CCNA|MCSE 2003 +Messaging|MCTS|ITIL V3|

Hi LKeneston, 1. Would you please let me know whether the userexternalA and userexternalb belong to same organization?2. Whether the external mail organization is Exchangeeither?I have local test on my lab, I am able to reproduce your issue if the userexternalAand userexternalB belong to one Exchange organization. Nevertheless, if I send a message to hotmail account and have hotmail to forward the message to another hotmail account, I am not able to reproduce your issue. Therefore, please let me know the detailed environment regarding the issue. In addition, would you please let me know the expected behaviour you would like to have? Whether you would like to have the message show from userexternalAdirectly when userexternalB receives the message? Thanks,Mike
