Meeting requests being forwarded to deleted mailbox...!?
Hi I am running Exchange/Outlook 2003. When a meeting request is sent to one specific user/mailbox an NDR is sent to sender. Below is the NDR Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients. Subject: **PLEASE IGNORE - THIS IS A TEST MEETING REQUEST** Sent: 2/12/2007 4:07 PM The following recipient(s) could not be reached: Leonie ****** on 2/12/2007 4:07 PM The e-mail account does not exist at the organization this message was sent to. Check the e-mail address, or contact the recipient directly to find out the correct address. <anvperms2.anvil.com.au #5.1.1> This meeting request was sent to another employee. The employee mentioned in the NDR, (Leonie) left the company 6 months ago and her Active Directory user object and her mailbox have been deleted (mailbox purged)There are no client/server side rules set on this persons mailbox in Active Directory or Outlook client, this even happens when their mail client is logged off. Am hoping for a fix other than deleting/recreating the AD object. Anyone had/seen a similar issue? Cheers Paul

hi Paul. In the mailbox of the person who the meeting request is sent to, check to see if there are any delegates configured. This can be found under Tools -> Options -> Delegates. If Leonie's mailbox is still listed, delete it. This mailbox could still be listed under the Delegate field even though the mailbox has been deleted from Exchange/AD Hope that helps, David.

I have exactly the same issue, currently playing with store viewer to see if I can find the rogue entry, take a look at this article if you have not seen it already.. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/312433The only thing I will say for the article, is that the instructions provided are not an exact fix for me, so I am still trying to find a solution.
