Meetings Disappearing From Calendars
I was wondering if anyone has had problems with appointments or meetingsdissapearing in calendars after they have been modified. For example: a meeting is scheduled for 8/10/09 at 10:00am with four attendees, later that day the originator of the meeting changes the meeting to 8/10/09 at 2:00pm. Out of the four attendees one of them will loose the meeting from their calendar and the others will have the modified meeting still in their calendar. I have not been able to recreate the problem and have had the users walk me through how they are modifying the meeting and I can't see anything they are doing wrong. It is to the point where we are telling people to cancel meetings rather than modifiying them and create a new meeting.

Is it happening for the same users or is it random?Have you checked the mailboxcalendarsettings of those users?Any Mobile devices? Do those also have the problem? What version of Outlook are you using?SF - MCITP:EMA, MCTS

Hi,If you are sure that the meeting has been modified and others are able to see those changes as their calendar enteries has been modiefied. Now you have to check the calendar of the user who is facing this problem. Follow the below steps:Start your MS-Outlook->Calendar->File->New Meeting Request->SchedulingCheck if you can see the modified meeting in the calendar of the user who is facing the problem. Some time there is some problem in the views. Now if you have access to the MS-Outlook profile of the user start the MS-Outlook, go to calendar->Views->Arrange By->Current View->Customize Current View, click on Reset Current View.I hope it'll solve your problem.Regards,Ankit

When organizer changed the meeting and sends the Update message, other attendants shall receive the Update message, hows the problematic user?
Does problematic user have set delegation on the outlook?
Please check if the disappeared meeting shows in the problematic users mailbox via OWA
Please also search other folders in the problematic outlook, like Deleted items folder, see if the disappeared meeting exists
Please use MFCMAPI to check if the meeting exists, please refer my post in this thread
Notes: Please set problematic outlook as online mode before the testing, and heres the latest MFCMAPI
Please reproduce the issue with same users in your first post, see if the issue persists with same group
