Meetings don't show in busy search until accepted

One user's meetings (our CIO) do not show up in a busy search until he accepts them. The checkbox under options - mail - tracking - Automatically process meeting requests... IS SELECTED.

We use Exchange 2010 in a DAG accessed via Outlook 2010 or 2013.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Could you please clarify the meaning of "in a busy search" so that we can understand the issue more efficiently?

Instead of "Busy", which free/busy status does it show as? Tentative or Free? By default, Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013 will automatically process your meeting requests and show the time-slots as "Tentative" on your Calendar. If the free/busy status is Tentative, it's the expected behavior.

If I've misunderstood something, please feel free to let me know.

No, they didn't show up at all in scheduling assistant. It turns out the meetings were sent as "free time"
