Merging Online Archive Back into Main Mailbox
I have a few users who requested online archives in Exchange because we felt their mailfiles would get too large. We've decided to go a different way with our Exchange archiving and I need to merge these "Online Archive" boxes back into the main
mailbox before disabling them. Is there a powershell script or other function to merge these boxes back together before I remove the Archive?
I've found if I just disable the archive the messages that are in those boxes are lost.

You could use the New-MailboxExportRequest cmdlet with the -IsArchive switch to export the archive mailbox to a PST, then use the New-MailboxImportRequest cmdlet to import the PST into the primary mailbox.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."
