Message Expiration date (message retention stuff) is different when items are viewed via OWA or Outlook, why?
Hello Jason,
I suggest you configure this account on another computer to have a try (with online mode).
If on this client, time is the same as your owa show, I think this may issue on that client.
If this issue also occur on other computers, I suggest you reset retention policy on that mailbox to have a try.
Thanks,
Evan Liu

Running Exchange 2010 SP2 RU4
We are just starting to roll out Retention Policies and I've read quite a few forum posts. The main question that we have right now is why when viewing an item via Outlook Web Access it will show one expiration date and when viewing that same message
via Outlook it will show a very different date?
Outlook shows message expires 12/30/2011, Outlook Web Access shows message expires 9/13/2012.
I've ran the MFA (start-managedfolderassistant - on the mailbox a couple of times, rebooted the servers, just installed RU4.
