Hi There, I have a customer who sends an email to 4 different email addresses. Two email addresses are mailboxes on two separate Exchange 2003 servers (SBS 2003 Premium). The other two addresses are webmail accessible via large ISPs. When a given person sends an email to all of the addresses above, only two recipients actually recieve the message - the non-exchange recpients. The webmail recipients show the attachment as "application/octet-stream" . The Exchange recipients never get the emailesage, never mind the attachment! Any Ideas? P.S. These servers have been in service for 4 years, and this is the first time there've been any such complaints, so I assume it's a problem with the client computer/program. However, there's no reason why a Linux/Unix box can handle emails better than Exchange is there? Respond to richard@sigserv.bc.ca
