Hey there, I am using Excel 2013 (home edition) for one year without any issues under windows 8.1. But recently I upgraded my os to windows 10 and I noticed some strange Excel freezing everytime I want to use very basic commands like changing the text font from the menu bar or trying to access option like cell format. It is nearly impossible to work and I keep losing my work everytime. This is really pissing me off. Can anybody assist on this one

May I know the detailed version number of the Windows 10 and Office 2013? The latest version is: Windows 10 10240 & Office 2013 15.0.4745.1002. If you did not use this version, please upgrade first.

If this issue still exists, please try to send us the event log via Email(ibsofc@microsoft.com), we can do further troubleshooting.
