Microsoft Exchange 2010 Testing plan Documentation/ Template
Dear All, Outsource team have recently deployed Exchange Server 2010 infrastructure to my organiztion 2 AD sites (2 MBX DAG , 2 CAS/HUB) each site. I want to prepare testing cases to check the deployment and configuration of servers so that i can be sure that everything is working fine in my environment. So Im looking for a document/Template that could help me to describe the different kind of tests i need to perform against a new Ms Exchange 2010 site to site new deployment to achieve best quality of the implemented architecture and to help me to identify any inconsistencies between the planed design and the actual product implementation. Personally I wouldn't be able to supply you with anything like that because it's intellectual property that my company has spent lots of money on and uses for its own competitive advantage. However, I think that you might just find that the Best Practices Analyzer, which is a tool in the Exchange Management Console, might just give you a lot of what you want. Having said that, no tool is going to be able to read your design and measure whether the depolyment matches it. Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Mohamed, this should do it , use these as baseline and modify them according to your needs. Building the test environment etc, if you bing it you will find many sources ( install & deploy & configure etc.) and you can ping me a side if you get stuck. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17206 Good luck, ozOz Casey, Dedeal MCITP (EMA), MCITP (EA), MCITP (SA) Visit smtp25.blogspot.com Visit Telnet25.wordpress.com This posting is provided AS-IS with no warranties or guarantees and confers no rights.
