Hi There, I am recieving the following error on my Exchange 2003 servers : - Event ID:8206 Calendaring agent failed with error code 0x8004010f while saving appointment. This is occuring for different users and often. I have looked at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/821293but this relates to Exchange 2000. We have recently started migrated users from exchange 2000 to 2003. Both enviroments are still in place. We have 4 exchnage 2000 servers and 4 exchange 2003 servers. This issue is only occuring on exchange 2003 servers. THanks in advanced. Rish

Hello Amit, Thanks for your email. This artical suggests there should be a problem--- ' This problem occurs because a counter is incremented every time that a recurring meeting is modified. This counter eventually reaches a limit. This limit blocks additional modifications' We are not experiencing any issues whatsoever, this error is harmless to us. Just wanted to know what could be causing it. Look forward to your reply..

Hi, After that some research, I notice that almost every 8206 event goes with other events such as 8230. Thus, please let me know whether any other related events are logged. In addition, please understand that the 0x8004010f can be interpreted as MAPI_E_NOT_FOUND. This will happen if a required property or item is not present. The HrSavingAppt::HrCheckPattern not-found error happens if a recurring appointment is saved without a start/end time or a time-zone. This indicates a corruption by the client / software used by the owner of the mailbox. In other words, the error is informational only. The Event is logged mostly if a mobile device syncing with Outlook (which syncs with Exchange), or a mobile device syncing directly with Exchange that creates appointments without a valid start or end date. When this required property (for Exchange) is missing, we log an event. Mike

Hi there, Along with 8206, we are getting 8243, 8217 and 8207. The only issues some of the users are having is they cannot delete recurring appointments. I have tried clean freebusy and all the other outlook switches. Please assist..... Thanks, Rish
