Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1
Hello! I have only one Exchange 2007 server (CAS + HUB + MAILBOX) installed in my company. Need to install "Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1" to support the Symantec Netbackup. I need to know the impact or if there is any history of problems when installing the "Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1". Thanks!

Significant ones? Not that I'm aware of.. there are always bugs and issues with any software, so I'm sure the answer is yes. However, it was designed to be the replacement to EXMAPI which previously shipped with Exchange, so it's (all things considered) a relatively low risk operation.

Hi Hmm… There are so many cases about it in this forum. Many of them aren’t solved. Search Forum: “Symantec “ “exchange 2007” “MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1” I list two of them. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvradmin/thread/d7f2410a-d099-42de-95be-d6d26a6f2590 http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvradmin/thread/9b58148d-a717-40dd-9a95-493e91e9a6df Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
