Microsoft Office Live Meeting - Webcam not recognised

Hello,

Microsoft Office Live Meeting shows that my webcam is turned on, and the preview box is greyed out.

When I go to "setup audio and video - webcam" my camera turns on and it works ok. However the "next" tab is greyed out, and when I click on close the webcam shuts off again, and I'm back to where I started.

I'm on a Lenovo T430 with a built in webcam - webcam works fine on Microsoft Lync, MSN communicator and Skype...

Any help would be appreciated (from a technophobe :) )

Hi!

Im experiencing the exact same issue here, with a Lenovo T430. The webcam works as expected in Communicator (3.5.6907.266), but not in Live Meeting (8.0.6362.215). In Live Meeting, I get a picture when going through the "Setup audio and video", but not in a meeting. It works if I connect an external webcamera, so it seems to indicate a problem with the driver to the camera in the T430.

As far as i can tell, the latest driver that Lenovo provides, is version 1.2.1.18. Has anyone tried with some other driver, to get it working?

Thanks in advance!

My driver is 1.2.1.18 - not had any other response on this or any idea on getting it fixed. It worked on an older Lenovo

After logging a fault on the office live help section someone called and solved the problem very quick - I had to uninstall the built in camera, and after restarting the laptop automatically re-installed the driver and it fixed the problem!
