Do you mean entering the product key during the HUP product download process? How did you download this product?
As far as I know, you don't need to enter the product key when download the product. After you've ordered and downloaded Office, you can access My Account page on Home Use Program site to view your order history.

Hi,
Do you mean entering the product key during the installation of Office Pro Plus 2013?
As far as I know, it will get activated automatically during the installation. If your Office didn't get activated during the installation somehow, the "Activate Office" window will pup up when you start any of the Office applications, there you should be able to enter your product key.
After you've installed your Office, you can access My Account page on Home Use Program site to view your order history.

If you are internet-connected during the installation, Office will silently auto-activate in the background.
You can check your account by visiting the HUP page.
(Possibly you might have more than one Microsoft Account? Maybe it's registered on another account you used?)

Click on the FAQ: "How to Download?"
Click on the item: "Office Pro Plus 2013"
Click through the guide. On slide #9, there are steps on how to enter your product key, if desired.
