Sudha,First of all you need to understand that Exchange generates logs for message routing, IIS, Windows Application logs and Windows system logs as well. which particular log are you talking about? Here are few sample ways to gather them though,Message tracking logs: these logs generated for every message that you send and recieve on exchange server. You can find them under \\exchangeserver\exchangeserver.log however to see files in it you need to have message tracking enabled on the server.IIS Logs: These logs are generated by IIS for every connection to it from client computers: Usually these logs are located at C:\windows\system32\LogFiles\W3SVC1 on a windows 2003 box. Again, you need to have IIS logging enabled to find these logs.Windows application and system logs are easily available using eventvwr.mscMMilind Naphade | MCTS:M | http://www.msexchangegeek.com

Sudha, What, specifically, do you want to know? As the other poster pointed out, Exchange generates a lot of different types of logs. Jim McBee - Blog - http://mostlyexchange.blogspot.com
