Migrated user access to exchange pre mailbox migration
Hi everyone I am about to start a domain migration and just have a few questions in regards to user mailbox access. We will be migrating the user accounts and machines first and perform the exchange migration at a later stage. These are 2 completely seperate forests with a 2 way trust and SID filtering disabled. My questions are as follows. Once the accounts and machines have been migrated to the target domain, is there anything which needs to be done to enable exchange mailbox access on the old domain? Is there anyway to disable the account in the old domain with it effecting the mailbox?Do we need to enable a password sync from the new domain user acocunts to the old domain user accounts at all as this mailbox migration could possibly take some time to complete? Thanks in advance for any assistance!
