Migrating Exchange 2007 Mailbox to Office 365 Mailbox
Hi,
I've been trying to carry out a Cutover migration from my Exchange 2007 box to Office 365.
Despite following all the guides/common sense I get the following error message:
"Error.
We couldn't discover the migration endpoint. Consider using the Exchange Remote Connectivity Analyzer (https://testexchangeconnectivity.com) to diagnose the connectivity issues.
The Exchange Remote Connectivity Analyzer runs through fine with no errors...
I've created a new account on SBS for the purpose of migration and assigned it Full permissions on Exchange Management Console.
The domain has been validated by 365 so I don't think that's the issue.
I've searched high and low for a solution but after 6 hours I'm out of ideas!
To recap the steps I've gone through:
1) Select Cutover Migration
2) Email address: username@domain.co.uk (this is currently hosted on my 2007 Box)
3) Account with privileges: DOMAIN\migration
4) Password of account with privileges: xxxx
> NEXT
5) This message appears: "We couldn't detect your server settings. Please enter them. The
migration service failed to detect the migration endpoint using the Autodiscover service. Please enter the migration endpoint settings or go back to the first step and retry using the Autodiscover service. Consider using the Exchange Remote Connectivity Analyzer
(https://testexchangeconnectivity.com) to diagnose the connectivity issues."
6) Prompt for Exchange Server: mail.domain.co.uk (as per current records)
7) RPC Proxy server: SERVERNAME.domain.local
----
Can anyone offer any suggestions for me!?
Many thanks in advance.
Rick.

Rick,
as Fiono stated this is an Exchange forum and I don't think that this is a pure Exchange problem.
But: Which of the Exchange Connectivity test did you run? Does the connectivity using autodiscover and Outlook Anywhere work perfectly well for the give test account?
Did you make sure that you test the connectivity using the same credentials as for your O365 cutover migration?
Be aware of the things described in this article:

You appear to have the RPC Proxy & Exchange Server addresses back to front.
The RPC proxy is the outside public FQDN, and the Exchange Server is the .local address.
